Cupping Massage blends ancent techniques with current therapeutic practices. Cupping is a modality which uses a cup to create a suction on an area of the body. The suction lifts and separates the superficial fascial layers to allow space for fresh oxygenated blood to rush in and reduce stagnation and adhesions. Cupping and Massage together allow for multiple areas to be treated at once or allows multiple modalities to be used on an area in need of extra attention. It is common to have red circular marks (called Ecchymosis) after treatment, and it's important to note that the Ecchymosis may last a few days, and up to a week.
There are some health conditions which are contraindicated for Cupping Treatments, feel free to contact me with your questions or concerns regarding whether cupping is right for you.
